SNOWING IN BALI:
Ice Sculpture and Winter Palace Exhibition: a 3 month long public exhibition at the Kuta Galleria Shopping Center that opens on March 20, 2007, expecting as many as 300,000 visitors during the course of the event.
1ST BALI INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON: JUNE 24, 2007:
The 1st annual Bali International Triathlon will take place on June 24, 2007 at Jimbaran Bay. This Olympic distance event, the first triathlon ever to be held in Bali, is a unique destination race combining a luxurious race setting with a challenging course.
KUTA KARNIVAL 2007: SEPTEMBER 1-9 2007:
street parades, fun fairs and bazaars stretching the length of Kuta Beach, and sporting events which have drawn thousands of people to visit Kuta and adjacent areas during the course of the Karnival.
WISMILAK INTERNATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT: SEPTEMBER 9-17, 2007:
The Wismilak International is the stop on the professional women's tennis tour that traditionally sees top players bringing their family along to enjoy the many splendors of the world's best holiday destination – Bali. As in years' past, the world's top female tennis talent will be on hand at Nusa Dua, including the likes of Lindsay Davenport, who won the Bali tournament in 2005; Svetlana Kuznetsova, who has three Bali wins to her credit (2002, 2004 and 2006); Elena Dementieva the 2003 champ; and 2004 French Open champion Anastasia Myskina.
UBUD WRITERS & READERS FESTIVAL: SEPTEMBER 25 2007 - OCTOBER 3 2007:
